Geo-Microscopy

Microscopy describes a wide range of methods for ‘imaging’ structures in a sample. The key challenge is preserving the link between the data (intensity/counts) and the metadata that gives it meaning (scale, energy, time etc).

A growing community of researchers is coming together to solve this issue and ensure accessibility, preservation, archiving and reusability of large volumes of high resolution imaging experiments.
